25th Garren Invitational

Suggestions for all GARREN COMPETITORS

If you are attending the GARREN for the first time here are a few suggestions:

  • Clean skates and laces, plus an extra pair of laces
  • Beige or flesh colored tights, plus an extra pair of tights
  • Hair should be neatly pulled back and tied if possible (don’t forget extra bobbie pins, elastic bands, hair spray, comb, etc.)
  • Music (if you are doing a music program) and an extra copy of the music.

The day of the GARREN you will need to:

  • Arrive at least one hour before your scheduled event.
  • Check in at the Hospitality Table in the West Grandstand area to receive your competitor packet.
  • If you have a music program, you will need to turn in your music/CD/tape at that time as well.
  • You can check this website to find out the time you are scheduled to skate a few days prior to the event.

The dressing room will be located in the back of the building near the Zamboni pit. Let the ice monitor know that you are in the building. Tell her the category you are competing in.

If you have any further questions about the competition ask you instructor.

Remember to wear a smile and cheer for your friends.
