HUDSON MOHAWK STARTS EXHIBITION TEAM!!
It is with great excitement that HMFSC announces the debut of our new Exhibition Team, The Houstonettes! Try outs for the elite team took place over the summer. The girls chosen to represent HMFSC for the 2007-2008 seasons are Rachel Abate, Alyssa Bonesteel, Mikayla Carhart, Cara DePan, Liza Dickinson, Kaitlyn Gallant, Laura Meehan and Tiffany Savoca. The Houstonettes were named in honor of former RPI President, Livingston Houston and the Houston Field House. It seemed only fitting that the Houstonettes made their skating debut over Thanksgiving weekend at the RPI Hockey Tournament in front of 3,000 people! The girls did a fabulous job skating both Friday and Saturday night. The Houstonettes have also performed at Albany's Tree Lighting Ceremony and Saratoga First Night Celebrations, and HMFSC's Winter Show. The Team looks forward to future performances and feels proud to be representing Hudson Mohawk at future events! |
