2020 was a tough year - but our supporters and our ice skating community have not let us down! We held a Mitten Tree drive for the Unity House in Troy, NY in December. So many skating families donated oodles and oodles of mittens, gloves, scarfs, hats, ear warmers - you name it! We had so many boxes and bags to donate to the Unity House and they appreciated it so much!
We also have had wonderful support from the Albany County Hockey Facility staff. This is our new home for the 2020-2021 season and it has been wonderful. The staff are very good about following the required COVID-19 precautions and keeping us all safe. The facility is clean and very well organized. We are so appreciative to have this rink so close to our normal skating region! Our skaters are from all over the Capital Region, and this rink is smack in the middle.
